The sealing of most glass bottles and cans is mainly determined by the vacuum degree in the bottle, rather than relying on the clasp of claw and thread. The function of claw is only to ensure the clasp of cap and thread in the sterilization process and the repeated sealing. The sealing after sterilization and cooling is mainly dependent on the vacuum in the bottle. Usually the standard bottle cap is combined with the standard glass bottle (in accordance with DIN6094). When sealing, the cap claw enters the 1/3 to 1/2 of the thread line at the top of the bottle, which is an ideal fit.
Excessive sealing can easily cause claw deformation, claw rusting, chronic air leakage, sterilization and other negative effects. Therefore, proper sealing torque should be paid attention to when sealing
